#3 "Let the Right One In" critical review (10/10)

Prior to seeing this movie, I was a tad skeptic as to what kind of film I was about to watch. I liked it because it's not like most films I've seen before. A little boy named Oskar meets a 12 year old girl named Eli at a playground in front of who he finds out later in the movie that she is a vampire. Oskar and Eli builds a close friendship which soon after turns into a relationship. In the movie, Oskar has to deal with these bullies who pick on him everyday when he is at school. Eli tells him to hit back harder then they do. On a field trip the "head" bully kept threatening to push Oskar in the frozen lake. Oskar worked up the courage to hit him in the ear with a stick which caused him to gush out blood. Throughout the movie Eli satisfies her hunger by killing people and drinking there blood. I liked how Eli was a vampire and how she went around and killed random people. I was really amazed of how white people are in Sweden. I really liked this movie and it makes me want to go out and buy it. I found this movie to be really good because it's originality. I think there should be a second movie to this because I would like to know what happened between Oskar and Eli. I know other people would like to know also. I would recommend other people to watch this good movie. Its definitely one of the best foreign films I have seen yet.

#2 Zoolander critical review (10/10)

This film is a hilarious look at the materialistic shallow fashion world and It is seen through the eyes of the “slow” and single minded male modeI, Derek Zoolander. I like this movie because the storyline isn't like a film you see every day. The story line of Zoolander is interesting. its about a male model who gets brain washed to kill the prime minister of Malaysia. Ben Stiller who plays Derek Zoolander is the main character of this movie. In the movie he has a rival male model which is Owen Wilson who plays Hansel. Later when Derek needs help from Hansel, he goes over to his house and apologizes. Throughout the rest of the movie, they become good friends and helps each other out. One of my favorite parts in the movie is when Derek and his room mates who were all balls models are spraying each other with gasoline at the gas station. When Derek goes to look at a magazine he notices his friend is about to smoke a cigarette. Once he lights the match, all Derek’s room mates gets all blown up and dies. I was surprised about what happened towards the end of the film, because I never thought that it was actually going to come true. It was a great ending and it shows how anybody can make there dreams come true if they really put there mind to it. After seeing this film I learned to never judge anything by its cover because it might just turn out better then what you think. I recommend everyone to watch this movie because its a great movie all around.

#1 Ocean's 11 critical review (10/10)

The story line of Oceans Eleven was good, but I think that the actors made this movie so much better then what it would have been with typical actors/actresses. This movie caught my attention because it had action and funny moments which I really like and enjoy watching. It was intriguing because they were on a mission to rob the Bellagio hotel. Danny Ocean and Rusty Ryan assembled a group of 9 other individuals to accomplish this heist. The movie mesmerized me because of the way it was produced/directed. Oceans Eleven had good flow and it did not have any dry/slow boring scenes. Along with good flow the movie also remained unpredictable and always seemed to keep me guessing. As a viewer I could appreciate how the writer incorporated comedy and action into this type of film. It was really cool to see how everyone from different parts of the country met up in Vegas. One of my favorite scenes in the movie is when they showed the ways on how they got to the safe and getting the money without being detected. I was fascinated by the landscape of Las Vegas especially at night with all the lights. It made the movie feel more exciting. The ending was unexpected because I did not think that Tess was going to get back with Danny Ocean. She is too ugly for him and I know she is just using him for his money. Its obvious because she was with the rich guy that owned the Bellagio and now that she knows he got robbed by Danny Ocean she is back with him. I recommend people to see this because its not your typical robber movie.

sample review- Seinfeld - face painter (8 out of 10)

Seinfeld is a popular show from the 90's that takes place in New York. When the show was starting, I thought it was going to be really gay judging it on the music and how they dressed. When I watched Seinfeld I thought it was pretty funny. It made me laugh the whole time. The background music in the show made it even more funny. The show's humor is very original and far ahead of it's time- especially for a show produced in the 90's. One of the scenes I thought was really funny was when the guy with the red paint on his face ran up to the car window of the priest and was yelling about his team called the Devils. After seeing that one episode it made me more interested in it. I recommend other people watching this show because it is one of a kind and no other show is like Seinfeld.
